We become transmitters and recievers of energy and so our belief systems can be likened to a radio transmission tower. The structural members or framework of the tower being all our core beliefs: all our associations, interpretations, obligations, duties and face values, etc. (e.g. Mum gives you a big hug wearing a purple jumper, now the colour purple can be associated with nice comforting things. The next day she might shout and scream at you wearing a green jumper. Now green is assoiated with bad upsetting things.)
From this tower we transmit energy in accordance with our beliefs. The more emotion in the belief, the more power in the transmission. Energetically speaking these transmissions can form a type of bubble or membrane around us which can become our comfort zones and models of the world. From within this bubble, or membrane, we tend to recieve back our own signals, which of course we interpret as coming from out there. From our models of the world, we hang onto certain things as well as we repel other things. It is said that no one does anything inappropriate given their model of the world, however there comes a time when we have to ask oursleves:-
So as we decode through our senses it all gets edited and interpreted through our belief systems; so in a sense we are really experiencing the world through ourselves. Our own qualities get mirrored back to us. If this mirroring of one's self is taken as a gift, it allows us to reassess to revise and to refocus on what does not serve us in our lives, to mindsets that are much more nourishing and fulfilling.
Einstein said we cannot solve a problem from the same place the problem originated; We have to expand to a higher level, to where the problem does not exist. Our belief systems, mindsets, comfort zones, or models of the world can be like a bubble of resistance, a tension of energy contracted to form a skin or membrane all around us whilst on the outside of this membrane is unconditional love and total abundance. This true and real life is now pushing into our comfort zones and mindsets. The very fabric of our lives are being torn open on occasions and belief systems are being knocked completely over. Far from being bad it is an opportunity to expand and evolve our concepts and experiences of reality. As we remember how to relax the tension that creates the membrane of our belief system, we feel lighter, more clear and deeply at peace; as we are bathed in the true reality of what is. The alternative is to stay in the box, in the comfort zone, where feelings of desperation panic and powerlessness can grow.
